| There are simply too many restaurants in the Benalmádena area to list them all but here are a few that we consider that little bit special. Let’s start with one just a few minutes away: |

| La Viborilla |
| This is located on the N340 coast road at the "Nueva Torrequebrada" exit and is owned by Gregorio and Antonia. Even the car park is beautiful, surrounded by tall eucalyptus trees. For the daytime there is the "chiringuito" (beach bar) with its white table and friendly waiters. For the evening there is the balustraded outdoor terrace which overlooks the restaurant's own beach. The food is excellent and the speciality is fish, much of it locally caught before being lovingly prepared by professional chef, Cristóbal. |

| Virtually next door to La Viborilla, this is an excellent Asian experience as the food is cooked before your very eyes. The chefs spectacularly prepare an omellette then rapidly chop it and flick pieces to awaiting open mouths. Ideal for children of all ages. |

| Chiringuitos |
| These are the traditional beach bar / restaurants and there are plenty to choose from. The food is always fresh especially the seafood. Try traditional Paella Valenciana or for a light lunch what better than fresh sardines gently cooked on an open fire - simple excellence. |

| Plaza Mayor |
| About 10 minutes’ drivealong the A7 toward Málaga and take the Parador de Golf exit this is a purpose built centre which has restaurants from all over the world, Arabian, Brazilian, Spanish, Italian, Irish, Turkish,Tex Mex... The list is endless. All are new, reasonably priced and very clean. The centre also features designer shops and the famous Nike factory outlet. |
