Our houses are - family-owned and run - holiday homes that are located in the development Mi Jardin, close to Benalmadena Pueblo. Mi Jardin is built in the traditional Spanish 'rustico' style, and is situated on a hillside with fabulous views, only two minutes from the beach by car. All houses are very similar in design and accommodation but each has its own special features. Each house enjoys peaceful surroundings to ensure a good night's sleep.
Our houses are on one level making them suitable for children or the elderly having communal gardens with swings and slide in separate garden area, pool with shallow end for children.
You will love sitting out in the evening sun, relaxing with a drink and taking in the magnificent sea views. |

| Benalmadena and the surrounding area |
| The urbanisation (that is what the Spanish call housing developments) is just five kilometres from the old original picturesque village of Benalmadena which is a typical Andalusian white village with many cafes, bars and restaurants in its narrow streets. Benalmadena is located approx. 4 kilometres inland at the top of the hill and has regular buses. The village church is set on an outcrop giving it wonderful views along the coast to Malaga and beyond and is a safe, short walk from the Plaza de España which has the fountain with the symbol of Benalmadena. There is a craft centre and art gallery where you can see the artists at work - painting, pottery, printing and other fine crafts. Visit the Falconry Centre just outside the village, built in honour of Christopher Columbus - A strikingly original monument. |

Mi Jardin is located within easy reach of all local amenities; for example the Aqua Park is less than ten minutes by car and Marbella only half an hour away. The nearest beach, Carvajal (pronounced Carverhal) is only five minutes drive and has its own off-road tarmac parking. The sand slopes gently into the Mediterranean sea and is perfectly safe for children. There are several beach bars, two of them having live music at different times of the week. The Kalifato beach bar has excellent tapas, and is particularly noted for its fine paella and Sangria.
The mountain village of Mijas (Mee-hass) is less than fifteen minutes drive and we recommend that you spend at least one full day there to take in its beauty. If you don't want to drive there is a bus service close by and the service is approximately every half hour. |

Just along the road at the entrance to Mi Jardin is a small, English owned supermarket which has an extensive range of foods, wine and beer and also stocks frozen ready meals which are locally produced - try the Spanish albondigas, tortilla or maybe a chicken tikka masala, both ready to microwave and enjoy in three minutes! There is also a Shell petrol station nearby, which is open 24 hours and has its own bakery - try one of their empanadas - simply delicious. Mi Jardin is without doubt an excellent base for your holiday on the Costa del Sol - A real home from home.
Benalmadena is an unspoilt area which lies between Torremolinos, and Fuengirola and boasts a wide choice of shops, cafes, restaurants and clubs. There is an attractive harbour, promenade and marina to admire as well as shops displaying the local handicrafts, including leather, lace and ceramics. |

| Ideally positioned for a peaceful holiday, within walking distance of sea front though steep, with plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets to hand and even a disco and casino to enjoy when the sun goes down. A short drive by car to quiet safe sandy beach, with beach bar/café and the usual sun beds and parasols costing about £2.00 per day, pedalos cost about £6.00 for a 6-seater with a slide. Our houses are only 20 minutes drive from Malaga airport and are located a little way up the hill between the beach and the old village of Benalmadena. |

Golf A choice of golf courses to suit every purse are available on request, the nearest being the world famous Torrequebrada. Note- To ensure your tee-off time is booked you should book in advance before you go for your game. This is especially important for short staying guests, during busy times of the year or during tournaments and will be subject to availability. Also if you wish to take a full set of golf clubs with you the airline must be informed when you book your air tickets. Carriage is not usually a problem provided the clubs are secure within the bag. On all aircraft there is a finite limit at which point it will not be possible to book any more clubs on that flight. However, sets of clubs can be hired locally. Therefore, it is advisable to book air tickets early to avoid disappointment. If you are booking your air tickets and you wish to take a set of golf clubs with you, please indicate this requirement on your flight booking form. |
